Venture makes its Marque at Murphy and Gunn
On Tuesday last, 26 February, the Venture Stillorgan group decamped the cosy confines of the Radisson Blu St Helen’s Hotel – famous for, amongst other things, its homemade cookies – and met up at the Murphy & Gunn showrooms in Milltown for their weekly meeting.
There, amidst the gleaming chrome of automotive awesomeness, the group had a typically dynamic, and productive, 90-minute networking session.
Following the formal meeting, we trooped downstairs to join nearly 150 other business people – including many Venture members from across the network – for “refreshments” and a presentation by Feargal Jennings of LinkedIn Solutions who detailed the many ways the world’s largest social networking website for professionals – boasting over 200 million members across the planet – can be used to increase business.
The event proved a tremendous success. And special thanks go to our hosts, Murphy & Gunn Ltd and their BMW Business Partnership Programme, and to the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Chamber of Commerce and the Venture Business Network, who acted as co-sponsors.
If you know of a great away venue for a Venture meeting, have a word with Shay. It’s a terrific way to spread the word about Ireland’s leading B2B network.
